Collective play to down Eagles - Bance

Burkina Faso flamboyant striker Aristide Bance says he’s counting on a collective play pattern to conquer the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.
The FC Augsburg forward wants his team mates to forget about their exploit againstGhana in the semi-finals and focus on the task ahead.
“We excelled against Ghana the other day, but that is that, Nigeria are a different side and could be a more complicated hurdle,” the 28-year-old said on Saturday.
“What we’re counting on is collective play, solidarity and selflessness. These values could put us ahead against the Nigerians or at least make life more difficult for them on Sunday. When you ask around everybody is tipping the Super Eagles to beat us, but remember, that was what they said before we met Ghana.”
The team’s playmaker Jonathan Pitroipa has been cleared by Caf to play in the final, which Bance described as an extra boost to the morale of the players and technical staff.
“It was great joy and motivation to us and we are happy with the decision. Even if a player cannot make a team, his contribution to our adventure so far has been wonderful, and we’re expectingmore from him on Sunday.”
