Are you planning to buy  the new media streaming product from Google? Well, you’re late and will wait for few weeks because multiple reports have confirmed that Google’s tiny little dongle which adds all the content from the internet to your TV is already sold out in many stores, both online and brick-and-mortar — and it clearly shows that Google has bagged a new hit product that would add a new revenue stream. So, how can Google generate revenue from Chromecast?

Well, one of the possibly reasons why the new TV accessory is sold out is the free 3-month Netflix subscription, it’s a super deal, in fact, many consumers are reporting to press people that they purchased the new dongle because they want to take advantage of Netflix. But that’s not all, let’s not give all the credit to Netflix because the many wants the device because it is cheap, and perhaps, a slew of customers are more than willing to pay $35 for a small device that would transform any regular TV to a smart TV. For starters, Chromecast is an HDMI/USB dongle that lets owners view content from any Android and iOS device to the TV set, in short, it is a mirror device that allows you to watch YouTube videos on larger display than playing it on a 4-inch iPhone 5. Users can stream any content from Google Chrome to the TV — period.
So how can Google generate revenue from Chromecast if it gives a free Netflix subscription and sells it on a low price point? Well — the answer is advertising. Much like your free TV network, Google can now sell more ads on its robust and lucrative advertising network, and more users would give the search engine giant a new stream of revenue thanks to wider audience that will see the ads.
Chromecast is living within the Google’s advertising ecosystem similar to Android, the most popular mobile operating system in the world, and the device’s unexpected sell-out clearly shows that Google is now expanding from our computers — to our TV sets. Here’s the catch, at least for cable companies, Google can soon change the way we watch movies and TV shows and because Google holds more money than companies like Roku and the rest — Google can continuously solidify the foundation of Chromecast and expand it to more markets and allows more people to watch TV shows and movies by tapping onto their internet connection.
Google’s advertisement for the new product is using the tag line “for bigger fun” and apparently, the bigger ad display, the larger the revenue.....see for yourself...https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=cKG5HDyTW8o
