Telly4 Africa celebrates Zeb Ejiro on E-Stars TV.

For his immense contributions towards the growth, sustenance and global recognition of Nollywood, leading filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, a force to reckon with in the industry, will take the centre stage this third quarter of 2013, courtesy of Telly4 Africa. Viewers will be thrilled with the great works of Ejiro and also hear from him about his sojourn in Nollywood in a celebratory broadcast on E-Stars TV’s channel 122 on Star-times Digital TV platform. Starting from July, Telly4 Africa’s E-Stars TV will commemorate, celebrate and recognize the forms,
origin and expressions of Nigerian movies by showcasing the works and performances of creative Ejiro. Also, Telly4 Africa has set aside the “Quarter 3” (Q3) of 2013, beginning from Monday, July1, till September 27, to celebrate and recognise Nigerian movies by showcasing the works and performances of actors and actresses, producers and directors of modern day and contemporary personae like Ola Balogun, Eddie Ugboma, Adamu Halilu, Tunde Kelani, Tade Ogidan, Amaka Igwe, the late KenSaro-Wiwa among others. Interestingly too, actors/actresses such as: Richard Mofe-Damijo, Zulu Adigwe, Ola Omonitan and Olu and Joke Jacobs, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde, Genevive Nnaji and several others will be prominently featured. Telly4 Africa, which has secured the broadcast right to transmit Ejiro’s works, saidit’s embarking on this laudable initiative based on its love and passion for Nollywood. Meanwhile, amiable Ejiro, President of Zeb Ejiro Production Company Limited, a highly accomplished and respected professional, who has made tremendous contributions towards development of the film industry in Nigeria, has produced and directed numerous blockbusters as well as enthralling soaps and series. Some of his celebrated works include: Goodbye Tomorrow, Mortal Inheritance, Domitilla, Sakobi, Conflicting Shadow, Intimate Strangers, Fatal Desire, Gentle Solution, Amadioha, Maniac, Faces of Evil and more. Ejiro, a former president of the Association ofMovie Producers (AMP), also produced, Ripples, one of the longest running soap operas ever in the country. Other soaps from the award-winning stable of the revered filmmaker are Fortunes, Broad Street and Candle Light.
